The Rector of Thamar University Congratulates the Sharia and Law Conference on its Success and Commends All Organizing Committees

■ Following the conclusion of the first scientific conference of the Faculty of Sharia and Law, Professor Dr. Mohammed Mohammed Hassan Al-Haifi, the Rector of Thamar University, chaired a comprehensive meeting that included the faculty leadership, committee heads, and members who organized the conference, which was held under the title "The Rulings and Constants of the Nation: From the Light of Prophethood to the Issues of the Nation."

The meeting reviewed and evaluated the conference proceedings, highlighting key successes and challenges encountered during preparation and organization.

The meeting discussed the level of preparation and organization, the progress of the conference, the committees' success in fulfilling their assigned tasks, the difficulties they faced during the preparation and conference phases, and ways to address these challenges and utilize the lessons learned to improve future conferences and scientific events.

The University Rector congratulated the college leadership, the heads of the organizing committees, and their members on the success of the conference, praising their efforts in preparation and organization, which resulted in a distinguished scientific conference reflecting the College of Sharia and Law's ability to manage academic and research events efficiently and effectively.

He emphasized that the conference's success represents a success for both the college and the university, reflecting the high level of determination and responsibility demonstrated by its academic and administrative staff. He noted that Thamar University views such events as an integral part of its mission to support scientific research and discuss issues of concern to society and the nation.

Dr. Al-Haifi commended the College of Sharia and Law for its scientific and organizational experience in its first conference, stressing the importance of building upon this achievement and utilizing the conference's outcomes and committee feedback to elevate the level of future conferences and broaden the scope of scientific participation.

From his part, Professor Dr. Abdulkarim Al-Bahla, the Dean of the College of Sharia and Law and Head of the Conference, expressed his gratitude to the University Rector for his support and follow-up on the conference.

He also commended the efforts of the organizing committees and the seamless integration that characterized the preparation and execution phases, emphasizing that the success achieved was a result of teamwork and the cooperation between the university and college leadership and the committee members.

The Dean also praised the University Rector's directives regarding developing and expanding the conference experience, affirming the college's readiness to proceed with preparations for the second scientific conference. He stressed the college's commitment to building upon the success of the first conference and expanding its scope in terms of participation, themes, and scientific research.

At the conclusion of the meeting, the University Rector reiterated his thanks and appreciation to the leadership of the College of Sharia and Law, the heads of the organizing committees, and their members. He commended their efforts, which contributed to the conference's success and its presentation in a manner befitting the university and the college.
