Thamar University Launches the Final Exams for the College of Sharia and Law in its First Academic Year

■ Professor Dr. Mohammed al-Haifi, the Rector Thamar University, accompanied by Professor Dr. Abdulkafi Al-Rifai, the Vice Rector for Student Affairs, launched the final exams for the second semester of the first academic year of the College of Sharia and Law.
The College was established pursuant to the eighth decision of the University Council for the year 1445, 2024 as a pioneering college aiming to meet the growing need for Sharia and law specializations among the people of Dhamar Governorate and neighboring governorates.
The Dean of the College, Professor Abdulkarim Al-Bahla, received the University Rector and his accompanying delegation in his office at the Deanship of the College. He then accompanied them on an inspection tour of ten examination halls housing 335 students.
During the tour, the University Rector assured the students of the progress of the examination process, which was conducted according to the highest organizational standards and within a conducive academic environment.
During the visit, Professor Mohammed Al-Haifi delivered a speech to the students, urging them to exert more effort in a manner befitting their specialization and future, as they will become high-level judges and lawyers.
In his speech, the University Rector emphasized that the establishment of the College of Sharia and Law represents a qualitative shift in the university's journey, saying, "This college represents a bridge between tradition and modernity and an embodiment of our vision to promote specialized education that meets the needs of society and produces capable national cadres capable of upholding truth and achieving justice."
From his part, Dr. Al-Rifai indicated that the college was designed to be a platform for preparing legal experts in the fields of law and Islamic Sharia, capable of applying systems and laws, thus contributing to building an effective generation that achieves social justice through Sharia and law.
From his part, the Dean of the College, Professor Abdulkarim Al-Bahla, stated that the great demand for admission to the college reflects the growing community confidence in Thamar University and its academic outcomes in general, particularly in the College of Sharia, its programs and its qualified and competent academic and administrative staff.
He also expressed his appreciation for the support provided by the university leadership, represented by its Rector, Professor Mohammed Al-Haifi, which contributes to ensuring the quality of academic outcomes by improving infrastructure, providing essential equipment and providing the college with qualified staff and coordinating effectively with judicial authorities.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by a number of academic and administrative leaders from the university and college, including the University's General Secretary, Dr. Mohammed Hutram, the College's Vice Dean, Dr. Khalid Al-Mashwi, the Head of the Media and Public Relations Department, Mr. Jamal Al-Bahri, the College's General Secretary, Abdulgader Al-Dailami, and the University's Security Director, Mr. Hassan Al-Badai, in addition to a number of faculty and administrative staff from the colleges of Sharia and Law and Education.
