Thamar University Launches the New Academic Year at the College of Sharia and Law

■ At the beginning of its second year, the College of Sharia at Thamar University launched the 1447 academic year with a celebratory academic event chaired by Professor Dr. Mohammed Al-Haifi, the Rector of the University. This event marked the start of a new academic year that reflects students' aspirations and affirms the college's commitment to leadership.
The event was attended by Professor Dr. Abdulkafi Al-Rifai, the Vice-Rector for Student Affairs, and Professor Dr. Adel Abdulghani Al-Ansi, the Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs, the Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Abdulkarim Al-Bahla, and Dr. Mohammed Hutram, the General Secretary of the University, as well as a number of college leaders and faculty members.
In his speech during the inauguration, the University Rector congratulated the college's leadership and students on this honorable launch. He praised the college's success during its first year and emphasized that its students are on the right path to the courts or the legal profession, as they are entrusted with defending the oppressed and are the pillars of justice in society.
In his speech, Professor Dr. Abdulkafi Al-Rifai congratulated the launch of the new academic year and offered several important pieces of advice to new and transferred students, urging them to update their information and adhere to academic procedures. He emphasized the readiness of the Student Affairs Office to provide the necessary support and facilitate all procedures related to their registration and academic attendance.
The event was attended by the College's General Secretary, Mr. Ahmed Amer, and a number of faculty members, who joined the students in the inauguration ceremony in an atmosphere of optimism and discipline.
A number of students from the college presented a symbolic celebration to mark the start of the new academic year, reflecting a spirit of enthusiasm and academic belonging.
In his opening remarks, the Dean of the College welcomed the university leadership and expressed his deep gratitude to the Rector of the University for his wise decision to establish the College of Sharia and Law. He also praised the ongoing efforts of the University's Vice-Rectors and the General Secretariat, and once again congratulated the students on reaching the second year of the College's existence, wishing them further success and distinction in their academic careers.
