Convening of the Founding Council of the College of Sharia and Law at Thamar University

■ Professor Dr. Mohammed Al-Haifi, the Rector of Thamar University, chaired the first founding meeting of the year 1446 today, which was held at the Deanship of the College of Sharia and Law at Thamar University.

The meeting was attended by a number of prominent university leaders, including Professor Dr. Abdulkarim Zabiba, the Vice-Rector for Graduate Studies and Scientific Research, Professor Dr. Adel Abdulghani Al-Ansi, the Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs, Professor Dr. Abdulkafi Al-Rifai, the Vice-Rector for Student Affairs, and Professor Dr. Abdulkarim Al-Bahla, the Chairman of the Council and Dean of the College of Sharia and Law, in addition to all members of the Council.

The meeting discussed several topics on the agenda and made appropriate decisions regarding them. The Council recommended that the recommendations be submitted to the relevant councils, each in its field, for approval or to submit proposals regarding them to the University Council.

The meeting was also attended by Dr. Mohammed Hutram, the General Secretary of the University, Dr. Zaid Al-Hadour, the Dean of the Center for Development and Quality Assurance, and Mr. Abdulghani Al-Hajjaji, the General Director of Financial Affairs at the University.

This step is a part of the University's efforts to enhance academic performance and develop educational programs at the College of Sharia and Law, contributing to the achievement of its overall objectives and strategic vision aimed at providing distinguished education in the field of Sharia and law.
