During his Eid Visit, the Rector of Thamar University Discusses with the Leadership of Al-Wihda University Teaching Hospital Ways to Develop Medical Services and Enhance Institutional Performance

■ Professor Dr. Mohammed Mohammed Hassan Al-Haifi, the Rector of Thamar University, paid an Eid visit this morning to Al-Wihda University Teaching Hospital in Ma'bar City to review the workflow and the level of administrative and medical performance following Eid Al-Adha holiday and to discuss several issues related to developing the health and educational services provided by the hospital.
The University Rector was accompanied during the visit by Professor Dr. Adel Abdulghani Al-Ansi, the Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs, Dr. Mohammed Hutrum, the General Secretary of the University, Jamal Al-Bahri, the Head of Media and Public Relations Department, and Khaled Al-Eshawi, the General Director of Public Relations.
They were received by the Hospital's General Director, Professor Dr. Abdulsalam Al-Miqdad, along with several faculty members, medical staff, and administrative personnel, including Dr. Saeed Al-Bahlouli, Dr. Bashar Al-Mujahid, the Director of Financial Affairs, Abdullah Al-Samawi, the Director of Human Resources, Abdulmalik Al-Karai, and a number of department heads and hospital employees.
During the meeting, the University Rector and the hospital leadership exchanged greetings and congratulations on the occasion of Eid Al-Adha. They also discussed the level of medical and administrative performance, the current state of healthcare services provided to citizens, and the efforts made by the hospital administration during Eid holiday to ensure the continuity of medical services and the reception of emergency cases around the clock.
Dr. Al-Haifi commended the professional discipline and commitment he observed in the various hospital departments. He praised the efforts of the on-call committees and the medical and nursing staff during Eid holidays, which contributed to providing outstanding healthcare services and accommodating a large number of patients and traffic accident victims arriving at the hospital. He also noted the high level of discipline and adherence to work schedules after the Eid holiday.
From his part, the University's General Secretary commended the level of cooperation and coordination between the hospital's leadership and its various departments, and the resulting smooth operation of shifts, official working hours, and medical and administrative rotations, which has positively impacted performance and services.
In turn, Professor Dr. Al-Miqdad expressed his appreciation to the university's leadership for its continued attention to the hospital, emphasizing that the support provided by the University's Rector is a significant incentive to continue development, modernization, and raising the level of medical, educational, and training services offered by the hospital.
