Dr. Al-Haifi Chairs a meeting for Al-Wihdah University Hospital Council

■ Professor Dr. Mohammed Al-Haifi, the Rector of Thamar University and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Al-Wihdah University Hospital in Maabar, chaired the first meeting of the Hospital's Council of Directors today to discuss the hospital's potential development and enhancement of its medical and administrative services.

 

The meeting which was attended by the Hospital's General Director, Dr. Mohammed Haider Al-Dhulei, and Dr. Mohammed Hutram, the General Secretary of the University and the Head of the University's Service Development and Procedures Simplification Team, discussed several key issues that would advance the hospital and enable its management to provide increased services to the local community.

 

This is in light of the community contributions made by the University Hospital in Maabar to advance medical and health services in the district at a high level, utilizing modern medical equipment and the specialized medical, academic and administrative staff of Thamar University.

 

The meeting concluded with a number of decisions aimed at overcoming many of the difficulties facing the hospital, contributing to the provision of more services and streamlining administrative and organizational procedures.

 

The meeting was also attended by Dr. Abdulsalam Al-Miqdad, the Deputy General Director for Financial and Administrative Affairs and the Head of the Hospital's Code of Conduct Team, and Abdullah Al-Samawi, the Director of Financial Affairs at the hospital and a member of the hospital's Procedures Simplification Team.
