The Faculty of Engineering at Thamar University has Awarded its Cafeteria Tender to the Most Technically and Service-Qualified Offer

■ As a part of completing the legal and administrative procedures for Public Tender No. (2) of 1447 - 2026, concerning the lease of the College of Engineering cafeteria on the western campus, Professor Dr. Mohammed Mohammed Hassan Al-Haifi, the Rector of Thamar University, chaired a meeting of the tender committee this morning, in the presence of the committee members.

The committee discussed the results of the technical and administrative review of the bids submitted by the competitors, in light of the terms and specifications stipulated in the tender documents. The bids were evaluated according to the approved legal and technical standards, ensuring the best interests of the university and providing the best services to the university community.

The committee approved awarding the tender to the bidder who met all the conditions and requirements and offered the best service level, after completing the evaluation and comparison procedures among the competing bids, within a framework of transparency, integrity, and equal opportunity.

The Unversity Rector affirmed that Thamar University is committed to managing its investments and service facilities according to institutional and legal principles that ensure the optimal utilization of university assets and the provision of the highest level of services to students and university staff. He commended the committee's efforts in carrying out its work with professionalism and impartiality.

The meeting was attended by Professor Essam Wasel, The Rector's Assistant for Centers Affairs, Dr. Mohammed Hutrum, the General Secretary of the University, and Abdulqader Al-Dailami, the General Director of the University Council and Secretary of the Committee. The necessary procedural steps were completed in preparation for finalizing the legal procedures related to approving the tender results.
