Cultural Consultant of Rector of Thamar University delivers an awareness lecture on the Palestinian issue Thamar University Media/Jamal Al-Bahri / Jumad Awal 30, 1445. December 14, 2023 ■ In an important step to enhance Cultural and Political awareness of the Palestinian issue, the Cultural Consultant of the Rector of Thamar University, Hassan al-Mawshki, on the sidelines of the Cultural Week, delivered an awareness lecture on the importance of Yemeni solidarity with the Palestinian people in Palestine Conference Hall at the University, attended by a large number of University Leaders, Faculty Members, and Administrative Cadres . The lecture dealt with the Palestinian issue from a historical and political perspective, highlighting the Israeli occupation and the daily violations to which Palestinians are subjected. The importance of Yemen's role in supporting the Palestinian people and its contribution to stopping ships transporting oil and military equipment to the Zionist entity was also highlighted. The Cultural Consultant praised Yemen's ongoing solidarity with the Palestinian cause, stressing that it reflects Yemeni people's just vision, moral principles, and lies at the heart of the faith identity. He also pointed out that the Yemeni naval forces have played a vital role in stopping oil transport ships and military equipment that support the Israeli occupation, which strengthens Yemen's position in supporting the rights of vulnerable peoples. The cultural advisor stressed the need to enhance the cultural and political awareness of the University's cadres and the Yemeni society on the Palestinian issue, and encourage them to contribute to international campaigns to support the Palestinian people, support them in restoring their legitimate rights, and boycott campaigns of American and Israeli goods.
