The Inauguration of the End of the First Semester Exams in the Faculties of Arts, Computers and Informatics

■ The Rector of Thamar University, Prof. Dr. Mohammed Al - Haifi inaugurated today the end of the first semester of the academic year 1445 (2023/2024) at the Faculties of Arts, Computers and Informatics at the University.

During his visit to the examination halls at the Faculty of Arts and Computers, the Rector of Thamar University delivered an encouraging speech to the students, urging them to give their best in the exams and make the most of the educational opportunity they have.

He also pointed to the blessing of getting an education in classrooms and exams in Yemen, despite the challenges faced by the country as a result of the war and siege, and highlighted a comparison between the suffering of our brothers in Palestine, pointing to the importance of appreciation and the optimal use of educational opportunity.

During his visit, Dr. Al-Haifi also listened to an explanation from the Vice-Rector of the University for Student Affairs, Prof. Dr. Abdulkafi Al-Rifai, the Dean of the Faculty of Computers and Informatics, Prof. Dr. Bashir Al-Maqaleh in addition to the Vice-Deans of the Faculty of Arts, Dr. Fadhel Al-Omaisi and Dr. Aziz Al-Aqra on how to manage the process in a way that ensures the best exam opportunity for students and ensure the smooth and calm conduct of exams.

Emphasis was placed on important aspects that confirm the University's commitment to providing an appropriate environment for exams and ensuring that each student is given the appropriate opportunity to express the extent of achieving what he deserves, including providing appropriate exam halls to ensure that students' needs are met, providing a suitable atmosphere for exams, arranging exam schedules carefully to ensure that materials do not overlap and distribute tests fairly among students to ensure that each student gets enough time to prepare and good performance in exams, stressing the continuation of coordination with Professors and observers to provide the necessary guidance to ensure a smooth and orderly process.

This step comes within the framework of Thamar University's quest to provide an appropriate and effective educational environment for students and enhance the academic evaluation process to ensure the quality of education and achieve the desired educational achievement.

These tests also reflect the University's commitment to developing its academic programs and keeping abreast of developments in multiple fields.

The inauguration of the end-of-semester exams at the Faculties of Arts, Computers and Informatics at Thamar University is an important station for assessing students' achievement and enhancing the quality of education. The University invites students to prepare well, be diligent and excel in exams, wishing them success in their academic career.

The inauguration was attended by the exam organizing body at the two Colleges, Faculty Members, and a number of the University's Academic and Administrative Leaders, including, Mr. Yahya Al-Dhumrani, the Consultant of the Rector of the University for Administrative and Legal Affairs, Mr. Mishaal Sharhan, Assistant General Secretary for Financial Affairs, the General Secartary of Computers and Informatics, Mr. Bandar Al-Duhmli, the Computer Center, Mr. Ahmed Rubaid, Mr. Ali Al-Bakharani, the General Secartary of Arts and the General Director of the University's Media.
