Cultural Event of the Institute of Continuing Education on the Occasion of the Anniversary of the Martyr and Keeping Abreast of the Al-Aqsa Flood. November 20, 2023 ■ Thamar University Institute for Continuing Education at Thamar University organized today a cultural and rhetorical event entitled "Martyrdom is a Gift that Allah Met with a Gift". During the event, the Rector of the University, Prof. Dr. Mohammed Al-Haifi praised the role of Yemeni Leadership in the face of aggression and its courage in defending the nation in its first cause, the cause of Palestine, stressing the importance of martyrdom and the sacrifices of martyrs for the sake of freedom and independence, and stressed that Thamar University is committed to supporting the Al-Aqsa Flood operation and supports it by all possible means. From his part, the Dean of the Institute, Dr. Nayef Al-Tayyar pointed out that the event is an opportunity to enhance cultural awareness, scientists and students ' communication within the framework of common national issues. He said that today we declare our support and stand by our brothers in Palestine, coinciding with the martyr's week, as we declare loyalty to the dear martyrs in Yemen and Palestine and pledge to follow their path whether by victory or martyrdom. He addressed the students of the Institute by saying that we will make more efforts to equip you, qualify you to be ready to do your health duty, and urgent aid. The Chancellor of the University, Mr. Hassan Al-Mawshki, stressed the importance of supporting the Palestinian cause, Jihad for the sake of Allah, supporting the Mujahideen in Palestine, and caring for the families of martyrs, coinciding with the anniversary of the martyr. The event which was attended by the Vice-Rector of the University for Student Affairs, Prof. Dr. Abdulkafi Al-Rifai, the Vice-Rector of the University for Academic Affairs, Prof. Dr. Adel Al-Ansi, his Assistant Dr. Adel Al-Eryani, the Head of the Department of Libraries, Printing and Publishing, Dr. Essam Wasel, the General Secretary of the University, Dr. Mohammed Hutram, the Vice-Dean of the Institute of Continuing Education, Dr. Salah Al-Qawsi, the Assistant General Secretary for Human Resources, Abdulmajeed Al-Adroei, the Assistant General Secretary for Financial Affairs, Mr. Meshaal Sharhan, the Head of the Follow-Up Department, Mr. Ali Omar, a large poems that deal with the Palestinian issue, support for the resistance, in addition to a song link expressing solidarity with Palestine and its support in the face of Zionist aggression.
