The Coordinating Committee of Universities, Institutes of Health and Technical Education in Dhamar Discusses the Annual Launch of Martyr's Week and Emphasizes Support for the Palestinian Cause Thamar University Media/Jamal Al-Bahri / 6 Jumad Awal 1445. November 19, 2023 ■ The fourth meeting of the Coordinating Committee of Universities and Institutes of Health and Technical Education in Dhamar Governorate was held today chaired by Prof. Dr. Mohammed Al-Haifi, the Rector of Thamar University and Chairman of the Committee to discuss the Annual Launch of Martyr's Week, and to strengthen mobilization to support the Palestinian Cause and support the Al-Aqsa Flood Operation. The committee approved the steps and measures that can be taken during the Annual Inauguration of the Martyr's Week through coordination to hold events that promote awareness and solidarity with the Palestinian Cause among community members and Higher Education students. In this context, the meeting praised the decisions of Yemeni revolutionary leadership in responding to the Zionist crimes by targeting the Zionist entity and its interests in the region through heroic operations by missile forces, manned aviation and naval forces. Dr. Mohammed Al-Haifi, the President of Thamar University and Chairman of the Committee stressed their commitment to supporting the Palestinian cause and standing by the Palestinian people in light of the current challenges and also expressed his appreciation for the solidarity efforts exerted by the leaders and individuals of Higher Education Institutions in Dhamar in supporting the Palestinian cause. These meetings and measures come within the framework of efforts to enhance public awareness of the issue of the Palestinian people and unite ranks to support their Just Cause. The strong interaction and continuous solidarity between Universities and Health and Educational Institutes in Dhamar reflect the keenness to support the Palestinian cause and contribute to resisting injustice and the Zionist occupation and commemorating the Anniversary of Martyr's Week. The meeting was attended by Prof. Dr. Abdulkafi Al-Rifai, the Vice-Rector of Thamar University for Student Affairs, Dr. Khalid Al-Husseini, the Dean of Guinness University, Dr. Amin Al-Sall, the Dean of Al-Hikma University, Dr. Mohammed Hutram, the General Secartary of Thamar University, and Dr. Zaid Al-Hadur, the Dean of Al-Darb Community College.
