An Awareness-Raising Cultural Seminar at Thamar University on the Importance of the Al-Aqsa Flood and its Continuous Revolution Thamar University Media/ Jamal Al-Bahri / November 4, 2023 Under the patronage of the Rector of the University, Prof. Dr. Mohamed Mohamed Al-Haifi, the Deanship of the Faculty of Medical Sciences at Thamar University organized today an awareness seminar entitled "The Flood of Al-Aqsa, a Continuous Revolution", with the aim of highlighting the importance of the Palestinian Cause and expressing solidarity and support for the oppressed Palestinian people. The seminar opened with the recitation of the Yemeni and Palestinian National Anthems, believing in the strength of ties and solidarity between the Yemeni and Palestinian peoples, sincere support for Palestine, the "Al-Aqsa Flood" operation, support for the Ghaza Strip and its honorable steadfastness in the face of the Zionist terrorist attack. At the seminar, the Rector of the University, Prof. Dr. Mohammed Al-Haifi in a speech expressed his thanks and appreciation to the wise revolutionary Yemeni leadership, represented by Commander Abdulmalik Al-Houthi who responded to the Palestinian call, and declared strong solidarity and full support for the Palestinian Cause. The seminar was an important opportunity to talk and navigate the issue of Palestine and included lectures and presentations by a number of Academics interested in the Palestinian issue. The challenges facing the Palestinian people and the importance of continuous work to achieve their rights and liberate their occupied land were reviewed. The seminar stressed the need to continue international and regional efforts to support the Palestinian Cause and urged attendees to engage in awareness campaigns and the struggle to spread awareness about the Palestinian issue and support the rights of the Palestinian people. This seminar marks the beginning of a series of future events and activities aimed at deepening awareness of the question of Palestine and enhancing efforts to support it throughout the world. The seminar comes to strengthen the bonds of solidarity between the University and the Palestinian people and Thamar University confirmed its firm commitment to strong work to spread awareness and support the Cause of Palestine. Dr. Al-Haifi pointed out that the decision to launch the Battle of the Al-Aqsa Flood in Palestine, the decision to support the Al-Aqsa Flood, and confront the Zionist enemy with missiles and Yemeni marches is a pure Yemeni decision, surpassing all Arab countries, the countries surrounding Palestine, and even some of the axis resistance forces. Prof. Al-Haifi confirmed that the Al-Aqsa Flood was planned to blow up the vanity of the Zionist enemy exposing its weakness as it succeeded in thwarting their plans and exposing the hypocrisy of the printers. The Cultural Consultant of the Rector of the University, Hassan Al-Mawshki spoke about the importance of raising the voice in the face of the enemies and making them aware of their truth, calling for raising the cry and reviving it in ourselves to be a strong voice challenging injustice and occupation, and supporting the Palestinian people in their legitimate struggle. From his part, the Dean of the College, Dr. Adel Emran welcomed the attendees, expressed his support for the Al-Aqsa Flood operation, condemned the Zionist aggression on the Gaza Strip, and expressed his displeasure at the shameful position of some rulers of the Arab and Islamic Nation. He pointed to the importance of the Al-Aqsa Flood Operation in breaking the Thorn and barbarism of the Zionist entity and restoring confidence to the Arab peoples in themselves and their resistance. He also touched upon the importance of Yemen's participation in the defense of Palestine, and responding to the Zionist aggression through missile forces and unmanned aerial vehicles. Moreover, Mr. Jassar Al-Jassar from the Guidance Office spoke about the importance of resisting Zionism and fighting it and called on everyone to participate in the battle, stressing the need for the participation of the Yemeni community of all its spectrums in the battle to boycott the products of the Zionist entity, and the countries supporting it stressing that the weakness of faith lies in not participating in this important battle. The seminar was attended by the Vice-Rector of the University for Higher Studies and Scientific Research, Prof. Dr. Abdulkarim Zabibah and the Vice-Rector of the University for Student Affairs, Prof. Dr. Abdulkafi Al-Rifai, in addition to the Deans of the Faculties, their Deputies, the General Secartary of the University, his Assistant for Services Affairs, a number of Heads of Departments, Directors of General Departments at the University, and the Secretary of the Faculty of Medical Sciences.
