Thamar Universities Coordination Council holds a Consultative Meeting to Discuss Mobilization Mechanisms to Support the Palestinian Cause

■ The Coordinating Council of Thamar Universities and institutes held today a consultative meeting chaired by the Rector of Thamar University, the Chairman of the Coordinating Council of University and Technical Education Institutions in Dhamar Governorate, Prof. Dr. Mohammed Al-Haifi attended by his Deputy, Prof. Dr. Abdulkafi Al-Rifai, his Consultant for Cultural Affairs, in addition to Representatives of University and Technical Education Institutions in the Governorate and the University Student Forum.

During the meeting, the mechanism of mobilization to support the Palestinian Cause was discussed through Thamar University and Private Universities in the Governorate and the Council approved steps and measures that can be taken to promote awareness and solidarity with the Palestinian Cause among community members and Higher Education tudents.

The proposed activities and events aimed at supporting the Palestinian Cause and Educating students, Faculty members, and Administrators about it were also discussed.

The meeting also discussed the outcomes of the expanded meetings with the Supreme Committee of the National Campaign for Al-Aqsa and the results of the meetings with the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research held last week at Sana'a University.

The meeting also touched upon the contents and directives of the Supreme Committee of the National Campaign to support Al-Aqsa and the Matrix of Cultural, Intellectual and Media events and activities was circulated, in accordance with the vision of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.

Prof. Al-Haifi urged the two Communities to work according to The Matrix circulated by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research which will be opened at Thamar University where an intellectual seminar of the Faculty of Medical Sciences will be held in Palestine Hall starting tomorrow Saturday morning.
