An important meeting between the Rector of the University and his Deputy for Student Affairs with the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Finance for the Regulatory Sector

An important meeting was held today at the Ministry of Finance in Sana'a between the Rector of Thamar University, Prof. Dr. Mohammed Al-Haifi and his Deputy for Student Affairs, Prof. Dr. Abdulkafi Al-Rifai, with the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Finance for the Regulatory Sector and Government Account, Mr. Mohammed Amer.

The meeting focused on following up the needs of the university, its financial issues, in addition to discussing the problem of accumulation of rents of rented University buildings outside the campus, settlements, academic and administrative promotions.

These meetings come as a part of the University's efforts to improve its financial situation as the accumulation of rents for rented buildings outside the campus and maintenance costs are issues that need immediate attention to address and these buildings form an important part of the University's infrastructure.

In addition, the meeting discussed the issues of promotions and settlements for members of the Academic and Administrative Staff at the University as this issue is part of the University's priorities in developing and improving the level of Academic and Administrative Work.

These meetings reflect Thamar University's commitment to achieving outstanding Higher Education, ensuring Effective Communication between the University and the Relevant Ministries in order to solve problems, achieve the aspirations of students, and the Faculty in creating a distinguished Educational environment through improving infrastructure, promoting Academic and Administrative development through continuous cooperation with all concerned Authorities.
