The Leadership of Thamar University participates in the Solidarity Stand of the Sons of Maabar City with Palestine Thamar University Media / Jamal Al-Bahri / October 22, 2023 ■ The Rector of Thamar University, Prof. Dr. Mohammed Al-Haifi along with his Deputy for Student Affairs, the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, and the General Deputy Director of Alwihdah University Educational Hospital in Maabar participated today in a Solidarity Stand with Palestine organized by the Sons of Al-musta in the city of Maabar, Jahran Directorate. In a stand of solidarity with the Palestinian people, to protest the crimes of Zionist aggression and affirm solidarity with the Al-Aqsa Flood operation, the attendees affirmed their readiness to implement the will of the wise leadership whenever it is issued in heading to Palestine. In the statement of the pause, the destruction of Gaza and the displacement of its inhabitants, the bombing of Almamadani Hospital which resulted in the martyrdom of 500 martyrs was condemned as a war crime and a crime against humanity, as well as the Zionist terrorism supported by the United States against the peoples of the region. This solidarity stance reflects the affirmation of the rejection of Zionist injustice and oppression and the affirmation of the right of the Palestinian people to live in freedom and dignity in their land. The protest vigil was attended by the General Secartary of the University, the Directors of Media and Public Relations, a number of the Directorate's Leadership, Dignitaries of the Region, a number of University Cadres and the University Hospital, students of the Faculty of Medicine and a crowd of citizens.
