Enhancing Cooperation and Communication Between Thamar University, the Local Council and the Water Foundation in the Governorate

■ Prof. Dr. Mohammed Al-Haifi, the Rector of Thamar University along with Prof. Dr. Abdulkarim Zabibah, the Vice-Rector of the University for High Studies and Scientific Research met today the General Director of the Thamar Directorate, the Chairman of the Local Council, Mr. Mohammed Al-Saiqal, the General Director of the Local Water and Sanitation Institution in the Governorate, Mr. Taha Al-Hindi, and the Chairman of the Services Committee in the Directorate, Mr. Hammoud Al-Maskari.

The meeting discussed a number of issues of common interest which contributes to strengthening the University's relations with its local environment.

From his part, Prof. Dr. Mohammed Al-Haifi aims to support and encourage cooperation and joint work between the University and the Executive Offices in the Governorate in order to achieve sustainable development and serve the local community.

In addition, the General Director of Thamar Directorate, Mr. Mohammed Al-Saiqal expressed his happiness with such meetings and stressed his interest in communication and continuous cooperation with Thamar University which contributes to community service, promoting sustainable development, and improving the quality of life in Dhamar City and its region.

The meeting was attended by the General Directors of Media and Public Relations.
