In The Prophet's Birthplace, Thamar University Launching the distribution of charity meals for 1000 families from the poorest families

■ Under the patronage of the Rector of the University, Prof. Dr. Mohammed Al-Haifi, Thamar University launched today the distribution of charitable meals to 1000 needy families in Dhamar City as a part of the events and initiatives that the University salutes on the occasion of the Prophet's Birth in 1445.


The Faculties of the University ensured the contribution to the financing of charitable meals provided by the University to needy families in Dhamar City, under the slogan
"وما أرسلناك
إلا رحمة للعالمين"
and the University Student Forum, Thamar University ensured the preparation and of the initiative.


At the inauguration, the Rector of Thamar University, Prof. Al-Haifi pointed out that the initiative is a message from the University to the community that the University is an integral part of its community and feels its needs in all fields, and that this initiative is a commitment to the values of the prophet and His teachings that call for feeling for others and extending a helping hand to them.


Prof. Al-Haifi invited everyone to the large and honorable crowd to Thamar University Square tomorrow Wednesday the day of the largest celebration of the Birth of Mustafa, May Allah's prayers be upon Him.


The Minister of Legal Affairs, Dr. Esmail Al-Mihaqiri, pointed out the importance of the initiative presented by Thamar University to target the poorest families with a thousand meals saying that it is wonderful that this cherished occasion is used as an opportunity for solidarity and compassion.


From his part, Mr. Abdulsalam Al-Mumaiz praised the efforts of Thamar University and what it has provided in the charity initiative pointing out the importance of commemorating the occasion, and that these are the works in which Allah places blessings and also thanked some of the Executive Offices in the Governorate that also initiated the efforts of the initiative.


The inauguration was attended by the Vice-Rector of the University for Student Affairs, Prof. Dr. Abdulkafi Al-Rifai, General Secartary of the University Dr. Mohammed Hutram, and the General Director of Media at the University, Jamal Al-Bahri.
