"وما أرسلناك إلا رحمة للعالمين"
in cooperation with the University Student Forum.

At the event, the Rector of the University welcomed Dr. Esmail Almihaqri, the Minister of Legal Affairs and thanked him for his visit to the University and invited him to give more valuable academic lectures at Thamar University, considering that such lectures with deep scientific and cultural content are what young people need, especially the youth of Yemeni Universities, including Thamar University.

Prof. Al-Haifi thanked the organizers for the good performance and called for the crowd and large attendance at the central event hosted by Thamar University Square next Wednesday, Rabi Al-awwal 12, 1445.

The Minister of Legal Affairs, Dr. Esmail Almihaqri touched upon the Quranic framework that governs our civilization and guides our progress and also spoke about the philosophical dimension believed by the West which has corrupted the historical values and beliefs possessed by those peoples.

Dr. Al-Mihaqir stressed the importance of celebrating the Prophet's Birth to revive the Maessenger of Allah for us, and to deepen our adherence to our values, morals and culture, which we derive from the prophet and his lofty morals.

He added that the preservation of human values and ethics is vital and Yemenis have been able to preserve them despite the degradation and moral decline prevailing in some Western societies and this confirms the strength and stability of human values in Yemeni culture.

Speaking about civilizations, Dr. Al-Muhaqiri said that Western civilization tends towards the utilitarian and consumerist material side and relies on it as an approach and behavior, and they are based on mechanistic materialism, although their thinkers came to the conclusion (that a civilization that allows science to destroy values is a civilization that destroys itself), while some Islamic groups turned in a different direction and relied on a purely spiritual approach, and we believe in our Quranic Islamic thought that moderation and intellectual balance is a necessary civilized behavior and creativity that must be achieved, we need knowledge in life modern trendsetters are based on chemistry, physics and other areas.

He stressed that we need to adhere to Islamic law and the spiritual and moral framework of Islam in our civilization, as Islam is a religion of moderation and balance between spirit and matter and encourages achieving balance in all aspects of life, including the balance between spirit and matter.

He spoke about the importance of differentiating between Customs and actions with a civilizational dimension and those customs and actions with a religious ideological dimension and pointed out the need to understand those important concepts to enhance human values and deepen our understanding of our cultural and religious heritage to preserve our identity and adhere to authentic values.

In his speech, the Vice-Rector of the University for Graduate Studies and Scientific Research, Prof. Dr. Abdulkareem Zabibah, welcomed the audience and expressed the importance of the occasion and thanked the Minister for his important speech with important academic dimensions in which he explained the nature of the conflict between two projects and two civilizations, the Quranic project which represents the spirit of Islamic human civilization and the Western project, which represents the immoral material civilization which distorted the human being and creation in favor of its pragmatic material values.

At the festival, a poetic poem expressing the occasion was presented, "Almasirah boys" band also presented a number of touching and related song operettas, a play was also presented by the "Ansar" band for theatrical performances and acting scenes and many wonderful folk dances were presented that met the admiration and acclaim of those present.
