The Rector of the University assures the health condition of Dr. Alhariri Thamar University Media / September 9, 2023 ■ Prof. Dr. Mohammed Al-Haifi, The Rector of the university, was reassured today about the health condition of Dr. Mahmoud Alhariri (Syrian Nationality), a recent graduate of the Faculty of Medicine at Thamar University, who suffered a traffic accident that led to a fracture of the neck vertebrae and spinal cord injury, and is currently in critical care at The Science and Technology Hospital in the Capital Sana'a. During the visit, The Rector of the University was accompanied by The Vice Dean of the Faculty of Human Medicine for Academic Affairs, Prof. Mohammed Ali Al-Hothy, Prof. Mohammed Al-Thilei, The General Director of Alwihdah Educational Hospital and Dr. Khaled Saleh, Consultant Neurologist who assured Alhariri of his health, and listened to an explanation from Dr. Majed Amer, Consultant Neurologist, about the state of health of Dr. Alhariri. Prof. Al-Haifi expressed his thanks and appreciation to the leadership of the University of Science and Technology, the Hospital Administration and the Medical Staff for their great attention to the critical condition of Dr. Alhariri, wishing to pay more attention and provide full health care, especially since the patient is considered a guest of Yemen. The accident happened to him in the last moments of completing his Medical Education Career. The Rector the University and his accompanying delegation were received by The Recotor of Science and Technology University, Prof.Adel Al-Mutawakel, the General Director of the hospital, Prof. Fahmi Al-Hakimi, The General Director of the hospital, Prof. Dr. Majid Amer, and a number of hospital doctors.
