□ Under the patronage of the Rector of Thamar University, Professor Dr. Mohammed Al-Haifi, the University's Palestine Hall hosted a grand academic ceremony celebrating the graduation of the first class of Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) students from the Faculty of Medical Sciences. This academic and historical milestone represents a significant achievement in the university's medical and health education program.
The event was attended by a number of university leaders, faculty members, graduates, and their parents, including Professor Dr. Abdulkafi Al-Rifai, the Vice-Rector for Student Affairs, Professor Dr. Abdulkarim Zabiba, the Vice-Rectorfor Graduate Studies and Scientific Research, Professor Dr. Adel Abdulghani Al-Ansi, the Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs, Dr. Adel Emran, the Dean of the Faculty of Medical Sciences, Dr. Mohammed Hutrum, the University General Secretary, Dr. AbduIlah Al-Adhruei, the Vice Dean of the Faculty for Training Affairs, Ahmed Al-Mujahid, the General Secretary of the Faculty, heads of academic departments, and a number of other academic and administrative leaders.
Concurrently with the celebration, the Faculty organized scientific sessions to discuss the graduation research projects of the program's students before a specialized scientific committee comprised of Professor Dr. Abdulkarim Al-Zumar, Associate Professor Dr. Khalid Al-Akhali, and Associate Professor Dr. Sam Douba. The research reflected the high level of scientific and professional qualifications the students acquired during their years of study.
In his address on behalf of the university, Professor Dr. Adel Abdulghani Al-Ansi conveyed the congratulations of the Rector of Thamar University, Professor Dr. Mohammed Al-Haifi, and the university leadership to the Dean of the Faculty of Medical Sciences, the graduates, and their families on the graduation of the first cohort from the Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) program. Dr. Anas Salam, the Representative of the Health and Environment Office in Dhamar Governorate, congratulated Thamar University and the Faculty of Medical Sciences on this academic achievement. The ceremony concluded with the honoring of the graduates and the taking of commemorative photos with the graduates and their families, in a celebratory atmosphere that reflected the magnitude of the achievement of Thamar University in launching the first cohort of Doctor of Pharmacy program.
