Under the patronage of the Rector of the University Prof. Dr. Mohammed Al-Haifi, the Faculty of Medical Sciences and the University Student Forum organized today a speech and chanting event on the occasion of the Anniversary of the Birth of the Prophet for the year 1445, under the slogan "The Birth of the Prophet is a Springboard to change the Nation's Bad and Humiliating Reality".
At the event Prof. Al-Haifi pointed out the greatness of the occasion of the Prophet's Birth and its significance in reviving the values of justice and equality among society.
Prof. Al-Haifi said that Yemenis are eagerly waiting for the occasion of the Birth, and they are working as beehives for its success, neither the aggression nor the siege dissuaded them from preparing for the greatest occasion on the hearts of Yemenis.
He added that this is an occasion to return to the biography of the Messenger of Allah through the Holy Quran to know the Prophet and His virtues, and not through sayings that have nothing to do with the Quran and the Prophetic approach, and in his speech to the enemies, he said that You will see in the coming days a plaque of faith that shakes your strength and humiliates your pride, it is the week of Yemenis to see how much they have gathered around the Messenger of Allah and their leadership and what they have prepared for you with strength and determination.
At the end of his speech, Prof. Al-Haifi called for more efforts, preparation and mobilization at the University and community levels for the central event to be held in the Square of the Holy Prophet on the campus of Thamar University on the Twelfth Wednesday of Rabie Alawal.
For his part, the Dean of the College, Dr. Adel Emran welcomed the Rector of the University, his Deputies and Consultans, the General Secartary of the University and his Assistants, and thanked the audience for their interaction in the event of the College of Medical Sciences which is being held in Welcome to the arrival of the Prophet's Birth.
In his speech at the University Student Forum, he talked about the occasion, its importance, and the importance of being associated with the Messenger of Allah and his approach, and urged the need to mobilize and attend next Wednesday in Al-Mawlid Al-Shareef Square.
The event which was attended by the Vice-Rectors of the University for Studies and Scientific Research, Academic Affairs, Student Affairs, the University Rector's Consultants, the University's General Secartary and his Assistant, a number of University Leaders, and students of the College, a number of guests, wonderful singing operettas, and folk dance links provided by Almasirah Band, added a special atmosphere to the ceremony.
