During his Eid Visit, the Rector of Thamar University Reviews the Administrative and Financial Performance Indicators of the General Secretariat and Commends the Level of Employee Discipline

■ Professor Dr. Mohammed Al-Haifi, the Rector of Thamar University, reviewed the administrative and financial performance and workflow at the university's General Secretariat during Eid visit, his second consecutive visit following Eid Al-Adha holiday. This visit is a part of his ongoing monitoring of the performance of the university's administrative sectors and units.
The Unversity Rector was accompanied during the visit by Professor Dr. Abdulkafi Al-Rifai, the Vice Rector for Student Affairs, Professor Dr. Adel Abdulghani Al-Ansi, the Vice Rector for Academic Affairs, Professor Dr. Essam Wasel, the Rector's Assistant for Centers Affairs, and several other university leaders.
During the visit, the University Rector met with the General Secretary, Dr. Mohammed Hutrum, his Assistant for Financial Affairs, Meshal Sharhan, his Assistant for Human Resources, Abdulmajeed Al-Adhruei, and the General Directors of Administrative Affairs, Academic Affairs, Entitlements, Public Relations, Services, and University Security, as well as a number of department heads, technicians, and specialists from the General Secretariat.
The University Rector exchanged greetings with the leadership and staff of the General Secretariat on the occasion of Eid Al-Adha, expressing his appreciation for the efforts exerted by the Secretariat in managing the various administrative, financial, and service-related operations of the university, particularly regarding performance monitoring and attendance and adherence to work regulations following Eid Al-Adha holiday.
The University Rector listened to a presentation by the General Secretary and his Assistant for Human Resources regarding attendance and work discipline indicators after the holiday. They indicated that the attendance rate recorded this year is among the highest in recent years, reflecting a growing sense of professional awareness and a commitment to fulfilling institutional duties and responsibilities.
The University Rector also discussed with the General Secretary and his assistants a number of administrative and financial issues related to developing institutional performance, the status of administrative staff, and the plans and aspirations that the General Secretariat is working to implement in the coming phase.
They also discussed the difficulties and challenges facing some administrative and financial aspects and ways to address them in order to enhance work efficiency and improve the level of services.
The Unversity Rector emphasized the importance of continuing efforts aimed at developing the administrative and financial work system and establishing a culture of discipline and institutional excellence, thereby strengthening the university's ability to carry out its academic and research tasks and serve the community efficiently and effectively.
