Thamar University Rector Conducts Field Visit to Enhance Direct Monitoring of Academic and Administrative Performance

■ In a field visit aimed at enhancing overall institutional performance, Professor Dr. Mohammed Al-Haifi, the Rector of Thamar University, inspected the Vice Presidency for Academic Affairs and the University's General Secretariat today.

He was accompanied by the Assistant Rector for Research Centers, Professor Dr. Essam Wasel, and several university leaders and staff members. This visit reflects the Rectors's commitment to directly monitoring workflow and evaluating performance levels across various sectors.

During his visit to the Vice Presidency for Academic Affairs, the Rector of the University with the Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs, Professor Dr. Adel Abdulghani Al-Ansi discussed a range of issues related to developing the educational process and improving academic programs to enhance the quality of educational outcomes and meet the demands of the current era.

The discussions also addressed the challenges facing academic work and ways to address them through the implementation of development plans and the improvement of monitoring and evaluation mechanisms. This aims to contribute to higher efficiency in academic performance and ensure the continued achievement of the university's strategic goals.

In a related context, the inspection tour included the University's General Secretariat, where the University Rector met with the General Secretary, Dr. Mohammed Hutrum. They discussed several financial and administrative matters, focusing on strengthening institutional discipline, improving resource management, and developing procedures to achieve transparency and efficiency in administrative performance.
