December 18, 2023 ■ Under the banner of the Al-Aqsa Flood, Prof. Dr. Mohammed Mohammed Hassan Al-Haifi, the Rector of Thamar University, opened today Alguds Computer Laboratory at the Faculty of Computer and Informatics at Thamar University which includes a modern computer device self-funded by the Faculty of Computers and Informatics, and is an important and distinctive addition to the college and its modernization projects and aims to promote scientific research and technological development in the field of computer, the laboratory provides a modern, highly equipped environment for College students to learn and develop their skills in the field of computing. During the opening, Dr. Al-Haifi expressed his happiness with the opening and the choice of the name of the Laboratory "Alguds", pointing out that Jerusalem is a symbol of Arabism, and the focus of the issue, Dr. Al-Haifi praised the Al-Aqsa Flood operation, the hope it provided, and a great boost of confidence in the resistance movements and their ability to confront and withstand. Dr. Al-Haifi pointed out the importance of providing an advanced and highly equipped educational environment to enable students to acquire the necessary skills in the world of technology and enhance their abilities in facing future challenges. The opening ceremony was attended by the Vice-Rector for Student Affairs, Prof. Dr. Abdulkafi Al-Rifai, the General Secretary of the University, Dr. Mohammed Hutram, and the Dean of the Faculty of computers, Prof. Dr. Bashir Al-Maqaleh, and the Former Dean of the College, Prof.Dr. Aish Awad, the Consultant of the Rector of the University for Academic Development and Automation Affairs, Dr. Khalid Al-Hussaini, Cultural Affairs, Mr. Hassan Al-Mawshki, the Head of Media and Public Relations Department, Mr. Fouad Al-Nahari, the General Secartary of the College, Mr. Bandar Al-Duhmli, and a large number of University and College Leaders. https://www.tu.edu.ye/faculty/view/fci/2176/2550
