The Director of Al-Wihdah University Hospital inspects the Measles Control Center at the Hospital in Ma'bar

■ In light of Thamar University's commitment, represented by Professor Dr. Mohammed Mohammed Al-Haifi, the Rector of the University, to provide diverse health and medical services in addition to its academic and educational mission in the community and within the framework of its commitment to strengthening the role of Al-Wihdah University Hospital in Maabar as a leading university health service facility affiliated with the university, Professor Dr. Abdulsalam Al-Miqdad, the General Director of the Hospital, made an inspection visit to the Measles Control Center, which provides free services to patients and visitors from Dhamar Governorate and neighboring areas.

During the visit, Dr. Al-Miqdad reviewed the progress of work in the reception, examination and treatment departments, praising the efforts of the center's medical and administrative staff and their commitment to providing quality healthcare services in accordance with international standards.

He also listened to a detailed explanation from the center's doctors, staff, and the Doctors Without Borders (MSF) team about the challenges facing the center and the support the organization provides to ensure the continuity of services to the local community.

Dr. Al-Miqdad praised this vital partnership, which reflects the hospital and university's commitment to strengthening cooperation with international and local organizations to serve citizens.

The General Director of the hospital emphasized that this visit aims to ensure the quality of university health services provided, as the hospital is part of the community services system provided by Dhamar University. He noted that the hospital continues to receive and treat all cases arriving or referred from various regions, particularly emergency cases.

The General Director of the Hospital was also accompanied by a number of hospital leaders, including the Financial Director, Mr. Abdullah Al-Samawi.
