Thamar University Launches Postgraduate Studies Coordination for the Academic Year 1448 as a Part of its Celebration of Three Decades of Excellence

■ In a significant organizational step for postgraduate programs, the University Rector Professor Dr. Mohammed Al-Haifi, along with his Deputy for Postgraduate Studies and Scientific Research, Professor Dr. Abdulkarim Zabiba, inaugurated the coordination and admission process for the academic year 1448 today at the Vice Presidency for Postgraduate Studies and Scientific Research.

This step reflects the university's high level of institutional readiness and technical and administrative integration. The inauguration took place during an official ceremony attended by a number of academic and administrative leaders, demonstrating organizational discipline and early preparation to ensure the process's success with high efficiency.

This launch comes within the context of a three-decade journey of scientific leadership since the university's founding, coinciding with its 30th anniversary. The Deanship of Graduate Studies and Scientific Research announced the launch of its package of specialized programs for the academic year 1448 (2026/2027), comprising more than 55 specialized programs distributed across diploma, master's, and doctoral levels in six leading colleges. This reflects an academic diversity that meets the needs of development and the labor market.

The Deanship has set the application and admission period from April 11, 2026 to June 13, 2026, at the General Administration of Graduate Studies on campus. Meticulous organizational arrangements have been put in place to facilitate the application process and ensure smooth operations, thereby enhancing the applicant experience and elevating the level of educational services provided.

During the launch ceremony, the University Rector emphasized that the coordination and admissions process represents a pivotal stage in the academic process and the development of scientific research.
