The Graduate Studies Council at Thamar University Strengthens Scientific Research at its Sixth Meeting

■ In an effort to enhance research opportunities, the Graduate Studies and Scientific Research Council at Thamar University held its sixth meeting for the academic year 1447, under the supervision of Professor Dr. Mohammed Al-Haifi, the Rector of Thamar University, and chaired by Professor Dr. Abdulkarim Zabibah, the Vice-Rector for Graduate Studies and Scientific Research. The meeting, attended by council members, reflected the university leadership's commitment to strengthening institutional work and developing the graduate studies system in accordance with approved regulations and bylaws.
The council began its meeting by reviewing and approving the minutes of the previous meeting, before moving on to discuss a number of topics submitted by the university's colleges, in line with the university's direction towards improving the quality of scientific research outputs and enhancing the graduate studies programs.
The meeting addressed the approval of the titles of scientific theses and dissertations for graduate students, as well as the appointment of supervisors for them, as well as the approval of the final results for graduate program graduates. The meeting also addressed the appropriate decisions regarding the topics presented to the council.
