Thamar university wins the second place in the national scientific competition Thamar University Media/Jamal Al-Bahri / Rajab 19, 1445. January 30, 2024 ■ Thamar University won the second place in the second scientific competition for Yemeni Universities which was organized by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research as part of the Al-Aqsa Flood events, where Thamar University participated with distinguished teams of students from the Faculties of Dentistry, Arts and Education. At the honoring ceremony which was held in the presence of the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Thamar university received the second rank shield in recognition of the efforts of its students and their excellence in scientific challenges. In a statement to the University Media, Prof. Dr. Mohammed Al-Haifi, The Rector of Thamar University congratulated and thanked the students of English from the Faculties of Arts and Education for winning the second place in the competition and their certificates of appreciation and honorary shields and thanked the English students from the Faculties of Arts and Education for participating in the competition and getting the sixth place. He added that we look forward to the continued excellence of the University students in future scientific competitions. At the honoring ceremony held at the Hall of the Faculty of Dentistry at Sana'a University, and attended by the Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry at Thamar University, Dr. Nashwan Al-Tayri, and the participating dental students from Thamar University in the competitive competition Project at the University level in the Educational Affairs Sector, Dr. Al-Rifai praised the performance of the students of the Faculty of Dentistry, their scientific and cultural level and blessed them for winning the second place, and honoring them with certificates of appreciation, shields for their efforts and excellence. Dr. Al-Rifai congratulated the Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry on the well-deserved victory and also thanked the participating English language students from the Faculties of Arts and Education at Thamar University for obtaining the sixth place.
