Thamar University Launches Second Semester and End-of-Year Exams for the 1447 Academic Year at the Faculty of Engineering

■ Under the patronage of Professor Dr. Mohammed Al-Haifi, the Rector of Thamar University, the university launched its second semester exams this morning. The Faculty of Engineering was the first faculty to begin its final exams for the second semester of the 1447 academic year.

During the launch, Professor Dr. Abdulkafi Al-Rifai, the Vice-Rector for Student Affairs, and Professor Dr. Adel Abdulghani Al-Ansi, the Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs, commended the leadership of the Faculty of Engineering and the significant efforts it has made in the past period, which have contributed to restoring the faculty to the correct academic path. The faculty has become a model to be emulated in terms of adherence to schedules and regulations, and in maintaining discipline regarding university dress.

The University's Vice-Rectors considered the College of Engineering's ranking first among the university's colleges, centers, and institutes as the first to conduct final exams this year a reflection of the significant efforts exerted by the college's leadership, with the direct support and follow-up of the University’s Rector, Professor of Civil Engineering Dr. Mohammed Al-Haifi, who has given special attention to supporting the college and improving its academic and administrative conditions.

The inauguration was attended by the Vice Dean of the College of Engineering for Academic Affairs, Dr. Abdullah Abbas, the Vice Dean for Student Affairs, Dr. Khalid Al-Shuraim, the College Secretary, Ali Al-Thumrani, and a number of faculty and administrative staff members.
