■ In a spirited and competitive sporting atmosphere, Thamar University Stadium, under the patronage of Professor Dr. Mohammed Mohammed Hassan Al-Haifi, the University Rector, and in the presence of Professor Dr. Abdulkafi Al-Rifai, the Vice-Rector for Student Affairs, Dr. Mohammed Hutram, the University General Secretary, and Ahmed Al-Awamri, the General Director of Activities, witnessed a strong football match as a part of the Martyr Al-Ghumari Football Tournament.
The match pitted the Faculty of Medical Sciences team against the Institute of Continuing Education team, reflecting the university's commitment to promoting student sports activities and fostering a spirit of positive competition within the university community.The match was held as a part of the ongoing tournament.
Professor Dr. Nabil Al-Mikhlafi, the Dean of the Institute of Continuing Education, his deputy for student affairs, Dr. Salah Al-Qawsi, and the Institute's General Secretary, Mohammed Al-Badawi, attended the event, along with several faculty and staff members from the College of Medical Sciences. They were keen to support their team and participate in this sporting event with the students, reflecting the positive interaction between academic leadership and student activities.
The match was exciting and competitive from the opening whistle, with both teams delivering a strong performance that reflected their level of preparation and readiness.
