Continuation of the competition in the football league between the colleges and institutes of Thamar University

■ In the context of the continuation of sports, cultural and scientific activities for the academic year 1446, 2024 2025, the football league competitions continue between the colleges and institutes of Thamar University as part of the university's sports activities, under the generous patronage of Professor Dr. Mohammed Al-Haifi, the Rector of the University, and under the supervision of Professor Dr. Abdulkafi Al-Rifai, the Vice-Rector of the University for Student Affairs, and with close follow-up from the General Director of Student Activities, Ahmed Al-Amri, two exciting and competitive matches were held today in an atmosphere full of excitement and suspense.
The first match witnessed a strong confrontation between the Institute of Continuing Education and the College of Education. It was a match full of opportunities and mutual attacks, during which the Institute of Continuing Education team was able to achieve victory with a score of two goals to one, to secure three points to its balance amidst the joy and encouragement of their colleagues.
As for the second match, it brought together the College of Administrative Sciences and the College of Medicine.
During the match, the College of Administrative Sciences showed amazing performance and imposed its control over the atmosphere of the match to end with a clean six-goal result in its favor, reflecting the high readiness of the technical administrative sciences and the strength of their offensive line that left no room for competition.
In the context of the volleyball competitions, the tournament witnessed the withdrawal of the College of Education team, which gave the Institute of Continuing Education three points without the need to play the match.
In another match, the College of Administrative Sciences team withdrew, so the victory was counted in favor of the College of Medicine team with three points as well. Despite the withdrawals, the qualified teams confirmed their readiness to face the upcoming challenges with great ambitions to achieve the title.
These matches come within the framework of the university's support for sports activities and enhancing the spirit of fair competition among students which contributes to developing their physical and sports skills as well as the academic studies they receive.
It is worth noting that the competitions will continue in the coming days with more matches that are expected to be full of surprises and great excitement between the participating teams.
