The workshop, which will continue over two days, Saturday and Sunday, June 13-14, 2026, aims to enhance the capabilities of researchers, academics, and postgraduate students in preparing scientific research according to international standards, and to enable participants to learn about mechanisms for identifying high-quality research ideas and identifying scientific gaps that form the basis for research suitable for publication in internationally ranked, peer-reviewed scientific journals.
The workshop, presented by Dr. Hussein Al-Shaari, Professor of Business Administration at the Faculty of Administrative Sciences and a reviewer for several international scientific journals, addressed a number of scientific and applied topics aimed at developing scientific research skills and raising the quality of academic output to meet international publishing requirements and research excellence standards.
The workshop also focused on methods for formulating research problems, analyzing scientific literature, and identifying research gaps of scientific value, thereby increasing the chances of studies and research being accepted into reputable international journals.
This workshop is part of Thamar University's efforts to promote a culture of scientific research and support researchers in producing studies of intellectual value and impactful scientific contribution, thereby enhancing the university's presence in academic and research circles at both the local and international levels.
