■ This morning, Thursday, Professor Dr. Mohammed Al-Haifi, the Rector of Thamar University, chaired a meeting of the Faculty of Administrative Sciences Council.
The meeting was attended by Professor Dr. Adel Abdulghani Al-Ansi, the Vice-Rector of the University for Academic Affairs, Professor Dr. Amal Al-Mujahid, the Dean of the Faculty and Head of the Council, and members of the Faculty Council. This was the Council's final meeting for the academic year 1447.
The Council discussed several issues and topics on its agenda, primarily student and academic matters and postgraduate programs within the Faculty. It also reviewed the plans and programs scheduled for implementation within the framework of the new academic year 1448 and made appropriate decisions regarding the various topics presented, aiming to enhance academic performance and develop the educational and research process.
In a related development, the University Rector, accompanied by the Dean of the Faculty of Administrative Sciences, the University General Secretary Dr. Mohammed Hutrum, Dr. Ibrahim Al-Mujahid, and Professor Dr. Mohammed Al-Makradi, inspected the progress of postgraduate examinations at the Faculty of Administrative Sciences. He reviewed the organization and procedures in place to ensure the smooth conduct of the examinations in a suitable academic environment.
Professor Dr. Mohammed Al-Haifi commended the efforts of the Faculty's leadership and its academic and administrative staff in organizing and ensuring the success of the examinations. He emphasized that the postgraduate programs at the Faculty of Administrative Sciences are characterized by their diversity and comprehensiveness, meeting the demands and advancements in the fields of finance, business, and modern management.
The University Rector noted that the Faculty boasts distinguished academic and research talent and high-level scientific expertise, which has contributed over the years to supplying various academic, financial, and administrative institutions with qualified personnel. He affirmed the prestigious academic standing of the Faculty and its active role in preparing leaders and developing qualified individuals capable of contributing to development and serving state institutions throughout the Republic of Yemen.
This visit comes as a part of Thamar University's commitment to developing postgraduate programs and enhancing the quality of university education and scientific research at the Faculty of Administrative Sciences, in line with development requirements and labor market needs, and contributing to building qualified scientific and administrative personnel capable of facing future challenges.
