The Faculty of Administrative Sciences at Thamar University Enhances Graduate Studies by Approving Academic and Executive Doctoral Dissertation Plans in Business Administration

■ Amidst a robust academic movement reflecting the maturity of academic research, Thamar University organized today the scientific seminar sessions dedicated to discussing and approving doctoral dissertation plans in the Department of Business Administration at the Faculty of Administrative Sciences. This step reflects the university's commitment to improving the quality of graduate studies outcomes and directing scientific research towards real-world issues of national priority.

The sessions were held today in Al-Maqaleh Hall at the Faculty of Administrative Sciences, in the presence of Professor Dr. Mohammed Mohammed Hassan Al-Haifi, the Rector of Thamar University, and Professor Dr. Adel Abdulghani Al-Ansi, the Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs.

This event was also attended by Professor Dr. Amal Al-Mujahid, thr Dean of the Faculty of Administrative Sciences, Professor Dr. Abdullah Al-Qurashi, the Vice Dean for Academic Affairs, Dr. Tawfiq Al-Sunbani, the Vice Dean for Graduate Studies and the Head of the Department of Business Administration, as well as a number of faculty members and researchers.

The seminar sessions addressed the dissertation proposals of several researchers in the academic doctoral program within the Department of Business Administration, specializing in Financial Management. These researchers were Mr. Jamal Hamoud Al-Bahri and Mr. Nasser Saleh Najad. Additionally, the researcher Fouad Abu Ras, from the executive doctoral program, was also discussed. The research problems, theoretical frameworks, scientific methodologies, and their relevance to the economic and financial challenges in the Yemeni context were evaluated.

The discussion and evaluation committee consisted of Professor Dr. Amal Al-Mujahid as a chair, and members Professor Dr. Abdullah Al-Qurashi, Dr. Tawfiq Al-Sunbani, Dr. Amer Al-Sunbani, Professor Dr. Mohammed Al-Makradi, Dr. Hussein Al-Shaari, and Dr. Amal Al-Maqdashi.

These members provided specialized scientific observations and methodological guidance that contributed to enhancing the quality of the research proposals and raising their academic standards.

At the conclusion of the sessions, the committee expressed its appreciation for the level of scientific effort presented by the researchers and approved the dissertation proposals, recommending their submission to the department council for official adoption. The committee emphasized that these studies represent a qualitative addition to scientific research and contribute to enriching applied knowledge relevant to the Yemeni context and the requirements of institutional and financial development in the Republic of Yemen.
