Thamar University Approves New Year's Plan for the College of Administrative Sciences and the College of Computers and Informatics

■ As a part of the extensive preparations for the new academic year, Professor Dr. Mohammed Al-Haifi, the Rector of Thamar University, chaired an expanded meeting at the College of Administrative Sciences to discuss academic, student and graduate studies issues.
The meeting was attended by Professor Dr. Abdulkarim Zabiba, the Vice-Rector for Graduate Studies and Scientific Research, Professor Dr. Adel Abdulghani Al-Ansi, the Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs, Professor Amal Al-Mujahid, the Dean of the College, and her deputies for Academic Affairs, Professor Dr. Abdullah Al-Qurashi, for Graduate Studies, Dr. Tawfiq Al-Sanbani, for Graduate Studies, and Dr. Ibrahim Al-Mujahid, for Student Affairs.
Also there were a number of department heads and members of the college's administrative and academic bodies, as well as the College's General Secretary, Abdullah Rajeh, the General Director of Graduate Studies and Scientific Research, Abdu Al-Marani, and the General Director of Scientific Research, Ali Zaid and a number of academic and administrative staff.
The attendees discussed the possibility of launching the 1447 academic year next week, according to a disciplined program that ensures a smooth launch that reflects the college's readiness.
They also approved the completion of the Master's in Accounting program description documents, in line with quality and academic accreditation standards. They also discussed strengthening the linking of graduate theses titles to the university's research map to direct efforts toward issues that impact society and support the development process.
The meeting also discussed the preparation of researcher identification cards to build a comprehensive database that facilitates the documentation of scientific production and supports integration between the university's research units. They also discussed objective criteria for honoring researchers during the annual Scientific Day, which will stimulate giving, consolidate a culture of research and value scientific achievement.
On the other hand, Prof. Abdulkarim Zabiba, the Vice-Rector for Graduate Studies and Scientific Research, accompanied by the Head of the Scientific Research Department and the General Director of Graduate Studies, held an important meeting at the College of Computers and Informatics.
He discussed a number of issues related to graduate studies and scientific research at the college with the Dean of the College, Prof. Dr. Bashir Al-Maqalih, and his Vice Dean for Graduate Studies, Dr. Adnan Makrad. The meeting was attended by a number of college leaders, department heads and members of the administrative and academic staff.
The meeting also discussed the readiness of the college's technical programs and research and innovation plans, ensuring that they serve the university's priorities and respond to the requirements of the digital labor market.
