The Academic Council of Thamar University Holds its First Meeting for the Academic Year 1448

■ In line with Professor Dr. Mohammed Al-Haifi, the Rector of Thamar University's commitment to the regular convening of the Council and its continued role in addressing various academic matters, the Academic Council of Thamar University held its first meeting for the academic year 1448, this morning.
The meeting was chaired by the Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs, Professor Dr. Adel Abdulghani Al-Ansi, and attended by the Council members.
The Council began its meeting by reviewing and approving the minutes of the previous meeting, before proceeding to discuss the academic topics and issues on the agenda.
The meeting addressed several academic and administrative matters related to the university's operations, including academic settlements, promotions, sabbatical leaves, and appointment procedures based on competitive selection criteria and public announcements in several university colleges, including the Colleges of Medicine, Engineering, and Education.
The council emphasized the importance of continuing to operate in accordance with approved academic regulations and systems, thereby enhancing the quality of university performance, supporting academic and research development, and contributing to raising the standard of education at Thamar University.
