During his Eid Visit, the Rector of Thamar University Inspects Agricultural Production and Applied Training Projects at the College of Agriculture and Veterinary Medicine.

■ Professor Dr. Mohammed Al-Haifi, the Rectir of Thamar University, inspected the academic and applied readiness of the College of Agriculture and Veterinary Medicine during Eid visit, conducted as a part of his follow-up on the colleges' preparations for the 1448 academic year.
The University Rector was accompanied on the visit by Professor Dr. Abdulkafi Al-Rifai, the Vice-Rector for Student Affairs, Professor Dr. Adel Abdulghani Al-Ansi, the Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs, Professor Dr. Essam Wasel, the Rector's Assistant for Centers Affairs, Dr. Mohammed Hutrum, the General Secretary of the University, Jamal Al-Bahri, Head of Media and Public Relations Department, and a number of other university leaders.
They were received by the Dean of the College, Dr. Abdulghani Al-Yahiri, the College General Secretary, Abdu Dahhan, as well as a number of faculty members and academic and administrative leaders.
The Unversity Rector reviewed the college's operations, visited the protected nursery, and learned about its equipment and training and research capabilities. He also received a briefing on the applied agricultural activities implemented by the college and the efforts being made to expand fruit tree cultivation on campus.
Dr. Al-Haifi emphasized the importance of strengthening the practical and applied aspects of agricultural and veterinary programs, which contributes to preparing qualified personnel capable of contributing to agricultural development and serving the community.
