During his Eid Visit, the Rector of Thamar University Discusses Admission Policies and Preparations for the New Academic Year with the Leadership of the Faculty of Medicine

■ Professor Dr. Mohammed Al-Haifi, the Rector of Thamar University, discussed several academic and administrative issues related to the admissions and registration process and the ongoing preparations for the 1448 academic year with the leadership of the Faculty of Medicine. This discussion took place during an inspection visit to the faculty as part of the field visit program.
The Unversity Rector was accompanied during the visit by Professor Dr. Abdulkafi Al-Rifai, the Vice-Rector for Student Affairs, Professor Dr. Adel Abdulghani Al-Ansi, the Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs, Professor Dr. Essam Wasel, the Rector's Assistant for Centers Affairs, Dr. Mohammed Hutrum, the General Secretary of the University, Jamal Al-Bahri, the Head of Media and Public Relations Department, and a number of other university leaders and staff members.
They were received by the Vice Dean for Student Affairs, Dr. AbduIlah Al-Adhruei, and the General Secretary of the College, Ali Al-Bakhrani, as well as a number of academic and administrative leaders, faculty members, and staff.
The University Rector listened to a presentation on the college's operations and the procedures in place for receiving new students. He also discussed with the college leadership several topics related to admissions and student placement policies, and mechanisms for developing academic performance to align with available resources and the college's future needs.
Professor Dr. Mohammed Al-Haifi emphasized the importance of continuing efforts to develop the educational environment and enhance the quality of academic and training programs, thereby contributing to the preparation of qualified medical professionals capable of meeting the needs of society and the job market.
