890 students take final exams at the Faculty of Medicine at Thamar University

■ In implementation of the directives of Prof. Dr. Mohammed Al-Haifi, the Rector of Thamar University, to ensure the completion of the academic year 1446, within the specified period according to the university calendar approved by the Ministry of Education and Scientific Research, Professor Dr. Abdulkafi Al-Rifai, the Vice-Rector of Thamar University for Student Affairs, inspected today the progress of the final exams at the Faculty of Medicine at Thamar University, where he was received by the Dean of the College, Dr. Abdullah Al-Murtadha, and his deputy, Dr. Abdullah Al-Adhruei, in addition to a number of academic and administrative cadres in the college.
 
The visit included following up on the progress of the final exams for the academic year 1446, as about 890 students took the exams this year, including first and second-year students in the field of medicine and surgery at the College of Medicine.
 
The exam centers were distributed between the main department on the campus of the College of Medicine and the clinical department at Al-Wihdah University Hospital in Maabar City, affiliated with the college.
 
During his tour, Dr. Al-Rifai praised the efforts of the college leadership in organizing the exams according to the highest academic standards, stressing the importance of improving the educational process to ensure distinguished medical outcomes.
 
He also commended the distinguished academic level of the college students, pointing to the remarkable achievement made by the college recently, as it topped more than 25 Yemeni universities in the scientific competition organized by the Ministry of Education and Scientific Research in the capital, Sana'a early this month.
 
This visit comes within the framework of the interest of the university leadership, represented by the University Rector and his Deputy for Student Affairs, in enhancing the quality of academic education in the medical field and following up on the progress of the educational process to ensure achieving the highest academic levels.
