Three students were crowned with the title of Chess Championship at the Faculty of Medicine at Thamar University

■  The Chess Championship competition which comes as a part of the Al-Aqsa Flood events was concluded today at the Faculty of Medicine at Thamar University with the participation of 18 students of various levels.

As a result of the competition, three students qualified for the final stage where they will represent the Faculty of Medicine in the competition at the level of Thamar University during the final qualifiers, while the competition continues in the female student category where eight students participate at the college level.

This tournament reflects the commitment, skill of the students of the Faculty of Medicine in the game of chess, provides an opportunity for competition, sports interaction between students.

From his part, the Rector of the University, Prof. Dr. Mohammed Al-Haifi wished all students in all Faculties success in the upcoming competitions, more progress and excellence, and honorable representation of the University in the qualifiers at the University level in the capital Sana'a.
