The Faculties of Dentistry and Medical Sciences at Thamar University Organize Two Cultural Seminars on the Importance of Commemorating the Prophet's Birthday

■ The Faculties of Dentistry and Medical Sciences at Thamar University, in cooperation with the University Student Forum and under the patronage of Professor Dr. Mohammed Mohammed Hassan Al-Haifi, the Rector of Thamar University, organized two cultural seminars on the importance of commemorating the Prophet's birthday. These seminars were part of the university's cultural and awareness program in preparation for the Prophet's birthday celebrations in 1448.

At the Faculty of Dentistry, the seminar was held in the presence of the Dean, Dr. Nashwan Al-Tairi; the Director of the Teaching Hospital and Laboratories, Dr. Hamza Al-Dailami; the Dean's Advisor for Financial and Administrative Affairs, Hisham Al-Mahdi, a number of faculty members, academic and administrative staff, students, and members of the University Student Forum.

In his address, the Dean of the College emphasized the importance of utilizing this blessed occasion to instill the values ​​of the Prophet Mohammed (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) and to enhance religious and moral awareness among students. This, he explained, contributes to building a university personality that combines academic excellence with a commitment to ethical values. He noted that the university is keen to ensure its religious occasions serve as educational and cultural milestones that strengthen faith and national identity.

At the symposium, Hamza Al-Mawshaki, a member of the Guidance Office in Dhamar Governorate, spoke, highlighting the exalted status of the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) and the opportunity that the anniversary of his birth presents to deepen our connection with his noble life and to draw inspiration from his principles and values ​​in various aspects of life. He called for positive engagement with the cultural and religious events held on this occasion.

At the College of Medical Sciences, a cultural symposium was held in the presence of the Dean, Dr. Adel Emran, the General Secretary of the College, Ahmed Al-Mujahid, a number of college leaders, faculty members, administrative staff, and a group of students and members of the University Student Forum.

The Dean of the College delivered a speech welcoming the attendees, emphasizing that commemorating the Prophet's birthday embodies the meanings of love and emulation of the Prophet Mohammed (peace and blessings be upon him and his family), and reinforces the moral and humanitarian values ​​that university students should possess. He called for utilizing this occasion to solidify the principles of moderation, knowledge, work, and community service.

In their speeches, Zakaria Al-Hamzi and Ahmed Mujmali, the members of the Guidance Office in Dhamar Governorate, addressed the significance of the occasion and its religious and educational dimensions.
